Raju Singh has completed his 100th film in background scores with Ek Villain. He has earlier scored background music for films like CityLights (2014), Murder 3 (2013), Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013), Raaz 3 (2012), We Are Family (2010), Life In A Metro (2007), Page 3 (2005), Ishq Vishk (2003) and Chandni Bar (2001), to name a few.
Explaining the importance of background music, Singh says, "Though most dismiss background score as something insignificant, it's the actual element that communicates the director's vision. It makes an impact on the scene. In Ek Villain, the background score puts across the darkness in the romance."
